• Strategic Planning Services: Opportunity Assessments, Community Needs Assessment, Concept Development Plans, Strategic Master Plans, Institutional Logic Models, Implementation Plans, and Follow-up Evaluation Audits for museums, science centers, children’s museums, history museums, aquariums, other family learning centers and cultural attractions.
• Performance Analysis and Benchmarking Services: Strategic Business Plans, Attendance Potential Estimates, Staffing Plans, and Museum Performance Assessments.
• Program and & Architectural Development Services. As institutional planners, White Oak supports museums by developing their facility and program objectives, functional requirements and specifications. The members of White Oak’s Program and pre-Architectural Team starts with a current Space Use Analysis, and then co-designs with you Architectural Room Books, (preliminary architectural programs and adjacencies) and Learning Space Matrixes that present your needs and provide direction to architects and exhibit designers.
• Theater Planning and Implementation services and feasibility studies for giant- screen and special format films and theaters, digital dome theaters (fulldomes) and multi-purpose theaters, including conversion studies for GS film to digital and for planetariums to fulldomes.
• Executive Production services for large scale projects that need strategic and creative direction integrated with economic, schedule and contractual controls. By using our international lists of museum-qualified architects, exhibit designers/fabricators and theater system suppliers, we run selection processes that translate your museum’s objectives into Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and selection criteria.
